Need re-chamber ideas for old Mk V 9 lug 270WbyMag

I don't know that I buy into that. Having guided for Oregons big Roosevelt for nearly 40 years, I will say that I witnessed more 1 shot kills on them from a 270 Winchester and 130gr bullets than any other cartridge. I always recommend the 130gr Nosler Partition.
That partition makes a heck of a difference!!!!!!!!

New Barrel equals new brass, as a general rule of thumb. Custom barrels often have tighter chambers than Factory barrels. Brass fired in the factory chamber will often have a Memory, the brass will normalize swelling back out....sometimes. The adage, "keep your ammo fresh" is handed down to us for a reason.

7 Mag, 300 Win Mag, and to some degree, the 338 Win Mag will be more plentiful if there is a serious downturn in the economy or World War breaks out. Things are not looking good.

With AGD making good brass now, better get it while you can. If war breaks out, even AGD will be required to produce military ammo.
As Americans, we have been spoiled for a long time, and hard times will come on like a Thief in the Night!
