Anyone ever see a handgun sight in rest like this? Was purchased over 30yrs ago and can't find any info on them.
Thanks Joe

Fort Sandflat is the only manufacture that makes wood rifle stands that I am aware of. The one you have in the picture looks to me to be made for testing a pistol or ammo with the device to pull the trigger. I don't see a way to strap the gun solid for firing and if you were going to hand hold the gun why would you need to pull the trigger remotely. Also I am confused by the steel V shaped part at the bottom that would damage wood grips. I suspect that that was custom made for a specific purpose. Maybe a gun writer made it to test revolvers.

The V-shape part is plastic or plexiglass, the adjustable spring: is to rest against the side of the handgun for repeatable hold to help prevent cant.
Keep em coming!
