I'm looking to get some loads worked up for a 7mmRUM and was wondering what everybody is using for it? I'm planning to shoot the Nosler 160gr Accu-Bond

Any load data is apperciated

Try working up to 90.5 grains of H-1000 over CCI 250's with the 160 Accubond seated to fit the mag. If that doesn't work try Retumbo up to 96 grains with the same primer or my personal fav Rem 9 1/2 Mags. Let me know if you have some other bullets in mind and I just might have some data for em.

not exactly what you are looking for, but I have been shooting 162 Amax's pushed by 85 gr RL22 with Win Mag large rifle primers. Don't know the velocity, but very accurate.

RL-25 shoots faster in my Savage 116 then Hornady Manual figures, 84 grains with Fed 215 and Hornady 154 SST shows 3100 on chrono. AA8700 shoots same bullet slower then books loadings. However, without neck size only, my primers look very flattened with any load?? Bullets not touching lands. Headspace has been checked with gauges.
This round seems very "finicky" in this rifle. With FL resizing, cases were starting to show head separation after 3 firings. Check with RCBS case mic showed fired cases were stretching .005, (within SAMMI), from factory loaded cases and same with reloads from FL RCBS die. Just started neck size only to see how cases last.

Took Antelope at 260 yds with 154 SST. Thorax hit with 4 inch exit hole. Lope still ran 60 yds. with lungs and heart jellied.

I want to try the 160 accubond as well. Right now I am shooting a 150 gr partition, Rem case, Fed 215 primer, 95 gr. RL25, OAL 3.670 if you try this load, work up from well below as each rifle is different as is each different lot of powder. For me, this load Chrono's ave 3450 @15ft. 3 shot group at .75 inch @ 100 yd. I shoot it through a factory 700 LSS. For me, this load goes into the magazine, feeds well, doesn't exhibit pressure signs, and kills animals. I want to try the 160 accubond to see if it shoots flatter than the 150 partition out to about 450 yds. Until I shoot more/practice more. I have no business shooting further.

180 pilot, I think your resizing to much, you set the die to your chamber? also if your shooting a fed 215 primer, they have a soft cup and flatten some with any normal load, this is according to a tech at sierra bullets.
