Maybe this has been discussed but I need a set of 6.5 PRC dies. I'm not needing benchrest dies but I do want to do a good job. I will be loading high BC bullets. I'm a hunter and shoot some steel occasionally. What dies would serve me well?
I've used many makes and brands of dies. The only dies I buy now are Redding s type with the competition seating die. Not saying there are not other quality dies out there. I've just had really good luck with Redding.
Competition SEATING dies are extremely convenient when working up loads, especially when trying different bullets. In this type of die, the RCBS seem harder to read, and maybe, lack repeatability.
Lately, I have been purchasing Redding. Been reading great things about Forester, but do not have personal experience with this brand.
