N568 Vihtavuori Powder

Did you find any pressure with 568? I found similarly lower than expected velocity from the 6.5prc/156eol combo.
My 6.5 PRC seemed to have lower velocity and got pressure around 2700 fps. I tried it on two different days in the mornings and same result. Have a 26" proof barrel. 26, 1000, and 560 have all been good. Using berger 156.

With n568? Vs what powder in the 264?
Not with N568, I've never found any N568 . Last trip to the range with N560 58.2 grs behind 135gr A-Tip produced an avg of 3,232 FPS . With 57grs of N565 behind a 156gr Berger produces 3,030fps. Now I've never worked with a 264. Looking Hornady 11th edition. The 6.5 prc equals the 264 with less powder.

I got N568 if anyone wants to trade for h1000 or n570

I just got the latest QuickLoad data update, which includes N568. For a 300 RUM with a SAAMI-standard COAL and a 26" barrel, QuickLoad predicts N568's max safe load for a 230-grain Berger Hybrid OTM is 90.3 grains at 2,870 fps. Compare this to 91.4 grains of N570 at 2,912 fps, or 95.7 grains of RL-33 at 2,897 fps. These 30-40 fps gaps are smaller than for lighter bullets or smaller cartridges. It looks to me like the slightly lower energy density of this powder is designed for the large cases of .338 and larger magnums. . . .
