I have had my .243 Striker for a couple of years now and still is one of my favorite guns.. It shoots great using both Hornady 58 grn's to my handloads of 80 grn soft points.

I ran onto my second Striker about a month ago and quickly worked out a deal on it.. Not being able to leave well enough alone, I thought it needed my touch on the stock.. So after 3 failed attempts and learning several ways to remove the paint... I finally finished it this morning. It now is awaiting new bases and rings along with a scope. Then I will finally be able to shoot it some.

Martin,
Those are some very sharp Strikers.
Where did you learn to paint like that?
What kind of accuracy are you getting with your 243?

I tought myself thru trial and error... The .243 will shoot under 3/4" 5 shot groups @ 100yds using Hornady 58grn moly VMax's, this using a straight 4 power scope..

Martin,

Nice lookin' paint job. Maybe I'll send my next paint job to you.....

Here's mine, done last Memorial Day weekend.

We otta get together, fly the flag and do some shootin'. But the flag wavin' would probably put the PDs in their holes.:D
