My Oregon spring bear

I got my Oregon coast spring bear last weekend , I shot it with my Cooper Phoenix 6.5x284 with 140vld, I took the shot at 550 yards bear rolled down the hill about 30yards into the brush. The 6.5 with 140 did a great job the vitals looked the grenade went off. the bears was 400lbs+ The biologist estimated the bear to be*atleast 12+ years old ,

Thank you, it was at 1400 ft

Thanks , and yeah it was pretty steep , the first 100 yards was the worst take one step sink 6" and slide foot back . But it was all worth it

Very nice!! Another great Oregon bear. My bear was not so big..LOL. Took him early in season to concentrate on getting my son his first bear.

No. We have a biggun on the trail cams though just waiting til August now.
