My CZ 452 Scout .22r It has gone threw many changes in its life...

When i got it

First time wearing a scope

Wearing a real Scope

The Scope it had for 4 years

Its first Paint Job

25 yard 3 shot group

2nd Paint Job

Set up for Long range

Its first "nice" Scope

144 yard Groups

Stripped the Paint

50 yard 5 shot group

100 Yard 5 shot groups

Shooting at 500 yards

Stock Mod

The stock mod is still a work in progress

Gotta say that your shooting with that .22 is pretty impressive, especiallyt at 500 yards. I noticed that you shoot in a creek bed (valley?). Is that for a specific reason? Maybe wind control? However, I'm sure the max-ord of those .22LR bullets is so high that it would encounter a different kind of wind at those heights. Does it usually take a couple sighter shots to get on target?

Sweet. Thanks for that trip. I love to see people try to improve what they are doing. Next, after you find your mark on the stock.....try and Bondo it into some art work piece since you can add and take off at will. Keep us posted. Make it look like a Wby-Mag lol....Good work. Noticed it shoots better with with no paint LOL.

Thanks guys, I was accualy thinking of once i get it where i want... if i ever do ha ha then i will clean and smothe it up and make it look "nice"... It looks great to me.. but that's probably because it fits me like a glove.

Update on the CZ

It Got a new Stock

What a big surprise it was to open my birthday present from my wife! It was a STOCK from Denny!!! I had mentioned it to her months back that i wanted one.. how did she contact or even know of Denny? She went to my good friend and neighbor/shooting buddy. and asked him if he knew anything of it. I had sent him an email/forward of the parts and stuff that Denny sells a while back. So he contacted him. And made it happen... What a big smile on my face i had when i opened it!!!

A shooter for sure!!!! One to hang onto forever. Those 22's never wear out, and one that shoots as good as yours are awesome.

Now she looks as good as she shoots! I'm willin' to bet she shoots better too. I've got one going through a similar metamorphose.

I have been neglecting updating the life story of the CZ scout. so here it is

1. Did a Yo Dave trigger kit. set at 5-6 oz.

2. Did a quick bedding job

3. Got a differnt scope. SWFA SS 16x MQ

Every thing seems to be paying off. I took 1st place in the last match.

Now i just need to get out and try some long range shooting again!!
