i have an mrc x2 that finally shoots good. My trigger has excessive creep. I am either going to take it to a gunsmith and have it tuned or put a Timney in it. Cost is about the same. Is one route beneficial over the other? Thought about sending it to mrc but they did a very poor job on another issue I had and I don't have much faith in their smiths. Thanks in advance for any info!

I had several small problems with my 300WM. MRC took care of the problems but were slow IMO. I like the rifle with the only flaw being the weight, I'm old and fat. Not sure what the customer service is like now that Remington has bought them.
