If you want to know honestly what they are...They're cheap junk....
Just like all of
MY Konus M-30 scopes, all my Simmons and Tasco scopes, etc... They are a "budget brand" optic manufacturer that produces high-end inexpensive scopes for low-budget individuals. Their scopes are great for what they are (cheap), but are nowhere near good on a comparative scale. I have some high-end scopes on my main hunting rifles, but I also have alot of cheap scopes, and inexpensive scopes, as well on rifles that I might not shoot as much, or aren't designed for precision shooting and hunting.
Honestly, do that A-Bolt a favor and get a higher-end optic. You will enjoy shooting and hunting better with high-end glass, and a $1K rifle deserves a good piece of glass on top of it.
Sorry I know there was alot of conflicting adjectives in my post, but that's basically what they are. And no, I was not putting down your Millet scope, I was just explaining to you what they are, and what they are on the grand-scale of things...
What's your price point, if you were to look for a new scope? I can help you out on selection, but won't know where to begin without a maximum price.
This is the exact same scope I have on my Browning A-Bolt II 7mm Rem Mag...

I would go with this base...

And these rings...

Here's a pic of my A-Bolt / Zeiss combo (I am currently awaiting to order my picatinny rail, and already have a set of those rings waiting on my bench)...
