Just picked up above Action at a great price! I got complete Action save Follower & spring. This Action tends to be unique in that other Mauser parts won,t fit it. Please advise. Thanks, D.
I built my 411-284 on this action 350 gr Hawks at 2200+ and 300 gr Northern Precision at 2350.Just picked up above Action at a great price! I got complete Action save Follower & spring. This Action tends to be unique in that other Mauser parts won,t fit it. Please advise. Thanks, D.
G33/40...Great action. I built 2 rifles on them. VZ/33, even better!First one I saw was over 55 years ago chambered in a 224 Clark and worked great with no issues. After all it's a Mauser. If any one has a G 3340 action they want to part with I'd be interested.
Thanks. Here is my Mexican!I have one chambered in 243 win. Short 16" barrel. Handy little woods rifle loaded with super light monos.
For such a short rifle, it is heavy though.
This may help if looking for parts.

You owe yourself rifle of beauty! That's purdy!
Mine was a hand me down I picked up from a buddy for cheap. It has an old Fajen stock, that was cut off for a youngster and then put back on when they grew up. Barrel is a take-off Ruger 14twist that is stamped in 200th Anniversary of our Nation (or something like that).
I have thought about having it made into something like yours, but seem to always run out of $$$ at McMillan, Manners, Carbon Six![]()
I watch the weather!I won't shoot them or take them to the woods if they look like that though. Hence McMillan and Manners get all my money.
Nice!! Do you have more photos of the rifle? What cartridge does it shoot? Thanks. Here is my Mexican!
