Meopta Vs IOR 6x42's

Getting ready to my glass for my Jarrett Walk About 7mm08 AI, Mcmillan stock, Jewell trigger, 20" tube. Thinking fixed power scope. Any suggestions or opinions? I have a 6.5x284 with a Meopta R2 Illuminated 2.5x15x56 and .270 with a Khales 8x56. The 708AI will be my lightweight woods gun but wood like the option of being able to shoot out to 400 for paper.
