Pardon my ignorance of the chassis world, I've never owned one or thought about it, until now.
I have a youth model 700 ADL in 7-.08, 20" sporter barrel...all stainless and a nice little rifle except for the stock, which is as cheap as they come. . The rifle does shoot decent and I'm thinking a better, more rigid stock could only help things.
So your chassis looks as if it will work, but I know very little about the topic. Would I still have to buy a buttstock ? And does it have bottom metal? I know for a simple ADL to BDL conversion, I'd need a new mag liner.
On the surface it looks very simple but there are always details that can complicate. Plus I'm not very handy or mechanically inclined....my wife reminds me of that all the time, as she calls her 78yr old Dad to come install a ceiling fan....but I digress.

I hate auto-correct- this has NO buttstock. No bottom metal. Just the chassis......

It will work, you will just need a 308 Mag or his Mag may work with some modification
