What about the surgeon bottom metal cut, will others fit or only surgeon? I am interested because its a heck a deal on the stocks but I looked at Surgeon bottom metal and that kinda put me off.

Not 100 percent sure but I was told Hawkins makes a bottom metal that will work, a lot cheaper then surgeon. With a little gunsmith work there are other options instead of surgeon.
