I have a VZ 24 Mauser action that I would like to build into a good deer and antelope gun. I have a Hogue overmold stock, Timney trigger, and low pro safety already. I am looking for a good smith that can help me finish this project. I need the action trued, barrel installed, new bolt handle, drilled and tapped and blued. I live in Arkansas but am willing to ship the action to be finished. I am looking for a reputable smith who is willing to spend some time talking to me to make sure I get what I want. Can anyone help me?

Look up Ray Montgomery in Longmont Colorado. He did an outstanding job on truing, etc, my M-1908, chambering and fitting a 270 Win Lilja barrel and a darn nifty blu(black) job.
