Marlin model #??

A few years back I bought a Marlin 8800SQ. It's a bolt action, clip fed, 7 shot .22 with a bull barrel. It shoots lights out....but I can't stomach the Tupperware stock and would like to replace it with an aftermarket wood or even laminated stock. My issue is that no one recognizes the model number. I'm more than willing to open up a stock to accept the bull barrel. Does anyone know what model # Marlin would have taken the action from to build this gun?
