Going to sell my Winchester model 70 extreme weather . I took this gun NIB and dropped it off at Mark Chanlynns to be rebarreled and bedded , action squared etc . also has Timney trigger . 24" bbl 1:10 twist and is threaded. The rifle weighs exactly 7lbs without scope and mounts. Rifle has only about 100 rds thru it since new , all factory Nosler 180gr Accubonds . I bought brass, dies etc thinking that I would work up loads for it , but fact is I had several boxes of the Nosler Trophy factory loaded 180 Accubonds already on hand and the gun shoots them into .5 moa easily , so I just used them . The rifle is crazy accurate and very soft shooting . I have hunted with it a few times, took a nice bear and an elk , rifle is in very nice shape as it has not been used much . Mostly have just stuck to my .308 over the years , so going to sell this one . It has a Leupold VX3 4.5x14x40mm CDS scope in Warne steel rings and steel mounts, also have Talley lightweight rings/mounts I will throw in, also fitted with Kenton dial with dope for the factory Nosler Trophy 180gr ammo . Also have Redding premium 3-die set and Redding competition seater die , 200ea new Norma brass and 50ea new Nosler brass . Not looking for trades , getting older and downsizing .
