Marble's camp axe

While I am not going to pack in this axe I'm recommending it if you horse pack or simply have a trailhead camp.

This axe head is made in El Salvador in the traditional Scandinavian way of hand forging.
Reviews from "axe experts" have rated this short axe highly for both splitting and chopping. Finding a good axe, one that chops and splits well, with good steel and a good hickory handle, is not easy unless you're willing to spend big bucks for a Scandinavian axe. Marble's Camp Axe is a "Best Buy" in this category.

Prices are all over the place from $40. to $24. so shop carefully.
