Looking For Scope Recommendations

Thanks for all the helpful recommendations you all have provided. I learned a lot. Ended up getting a SWFA 10X42 SS 30mm model in the mrad configuration. Based on what I learned here I determined I didn't need a variable power scope and that I needed a scope that had parallax adjustment to short distances. The SWFA scope I purchased fit the bill and was easy on the budget. Since acquiring it, it's been serving me well.

Why don't you get a .17WSM (winchester super magnum) and you can shoot them to 300yds. Winchester has a coyote on the box but I don''t know at what range. Several gun makers chamber the .17WSM, I have the Savage B-Mag. The .17WSM beats the .17HMR by 50% in every category. Price is about the same as 22mag and other .17's

The vortex venom has big range of elevation and falls at $499. Pretty good value. Good reputation. A few friends use them with comp 22's out to as much as 300yds on rimfires.

I second this. They carry a lifetime warranty as well I believe
