Good luck--last landowner I know in West Texas was getting $2875 a ram to the guy leasing... the guy was selling hunts for $5500. There are some high fence options or hill country options that will be in your price range. If your interested in those options PM me.

Mike McKinny at west Texas Hunt organization might have some in the $3000 range. To get below $2500 you are looking at high fence most likely.

They have gone up considerably in recent years. They used to be very reasonable. Not anymore.

I went on a high fence aoudad hunt last year. The ranch is 23,000 acres. We had to really hunt for them. Price was 2,400. Let me know if you are interested.
