Looking for advice 6.5-300wsm

I am looking to try some 147 eldm. And looking for any advice. My go to load is 67grns of Retumbo, with 140 Berger's VLD? Have a large variety of powder. If any one has tried them out of a 6.5-300wsm or any advice with 6.5-300wsm I Appreciate it

Since you ask for any advice here are some loads that I used. I've had two 6.5-300 WSMs.

Ages ago I found Retumbo to be fantastic, then RL33 showed up & it was even better.

I must dig my 6.5 Wsm out & try RL26 in it, been years since I fired it

Nothing but the 140 VLD's with H1000 in mine. Shoots to good to try anything else.

Same here. I have a 300 wsm that just wont shoot consistently. Have got a new stock and bottom metal, scope and trigger into it. Was going to be my alaskan hunting rifle but just love the idea of the 6.5-300wsm since i have all the brass i could ever need.

Just a bit of a necro-thread

I'm using up the last of my On-Hand 160 Matrix VLDs in my 6.5WSM. N570 is producing +3100fps without beating up the brass.
