Hello all I'm looking for a new 308 win to add to the safe.would like a model 700 ltr or police,5r or any tactical or varmint model.im mainly looking for a 20 or 22 inch barreled rifle.but I am looking for a controlled round feed action as well .and I will look at a 30-06 or 30-06 ai or 260 rem or ai version as well.and I am on a budget so I cant spend a arm and leg right now

Hard to beat the Remington 5R. I had one before I rebarreled it. Most accurate factory rifle I ever owned. It shot unbelievably well.

I have a stainless 700 varmint with a Bell & Carlson stock and a DBM mag well that accepts AI mags. I Ibought it used and shot it very little. I don't know the rate of twist or round count. I shot 168 grain hand loads and it held MOA. Let me know if you are interested and I'll dig it out of the safe and send you some pics.
