I'm looking for some help with a load for my Remington 700 HB 24". Data for these bullets is pretty slim. I also know that what works for one may not work for me but it could be a close place to start. I'm guessing the factory twist is 1:9 1/4
I'm interested in the 95 Sierra MK but seems I can only get the 95 Berger's locally.
I would like to use either H414 or preferably H4350.

Thanks in advance for any help,

I dont have any personal experience with the standard 6mm but here is what the Hodgdon site states. It is for a 95 grain nosler bt but should give you a good starting point.

Case: Winchester
Twist: 1:9"
Primer: Remington 9 1/2, Large Rifle
Barrel Length: 24"
Trim Length: 2.223"

H4350 starting 41.0gr @2909fps Max 45.5gr @3167fps
H414 starting 40.0gr @2847 fps Max 44.5gr @3164fps
Hybrid 100V starting 41.0gr @2930fps Max 45.4gr@3226fps

I run a 6mm ackley with 95 berger vld and have not had very good luck with H414 and have not used H4350.

However I have had good luck with 95 berger classic hunter.

I've had the best luck with both bullets using Hybrid 100V for speed and accuracy.

Good luck hope this helps some

Idaho Tracker,

I should have also stated that I would like to achieve 3150fps+ velocity.
I am not familiar with the 100V.

Thank you for your input. I always prefer to have others give me what has worked well for them and then compare it to the manual and go from there.

Thanks again,

I would recommend trying 100 V if you can. It has worked well in my 6ackley and my friends 243 with the 95 classic hunter. Both guns push the 95 100fps+ faster than published velocity and both of us are shooting 22.5 inch barrels from tikka and sako.

I was at the range today. Shooting a 6mm Remington 700 BDL Varmint Special. Using Berger 95 grain Classic Hunter. And IMR 4350. Everything shot well, sub MOA but 42.5 grains at about 3000 fps shot 1/2 inch. Very easy to load for and get great groups. Should do the deal on antelope next year.
