This morning I decided to take advantage of some typical spring Easter Wa weather and make a couple stands. It was blowing with some mixed snow and rain. I also thought I would knock the dust off my old Remington 700 BDL in 17 Remington. This little guy makes me smile every time I get a coyote with it. I was able to hand call this nice male in. Not a long shot by any means @74.5 yards, but lightning does strike once in awhile…!

My "bait alarm" woke me up about midnight; actually missed him the first shot then got him at about 250 yards after I hollered for him to stop! :p
Looked out this morning, and the "flying garbagemen" had already found him! They weren't too happy when I took the photos!
