DAY 1

Yesterday's weather forecast was pretty grim but it turned out ok to my surprise.

I am near Ridgway, Colorado shooting up near the San Juan Mountains.

They had been having rain down in the valleys...but snow up at altitude.

Be prepared to hunker down for a few days if a winter storm dumps a bunch of white stuff on you.
