Lol. I was surprised when I received 200 pcs of 243 brass the same way. The separater is in the box. Looks like they just dump it all in there. Had some dings in the case mouths. Still shot extremely well after running over a mandrel. Far cry from the way ADG ships!

Who did you buy them from? Lapua brass comes in box of 100.
I've gotten 101 cases in I think every box of Lapua I've opened. I for sure went 5-for-5 in a row on a new batch of 223 recently.

But this is why I try to buy 500-case lots whenever I can, so a couple of missing ones don't make the boxes look funny. I'll admit I didn't count out my 1,000-ct of 30SM cases when I received.

Alpha gives you the amp code for your lot number so you never have to burn one up.
It's not just annealing, also over-pressure loads during development, setting up dies, setting up turning, etc. Always seem to find a way to end up with a couple cases out of the final batch.

I have gotten a box of 500 280AI cases here last year. The case length varied about .007" from long to short. I now a seond box of 500 280AI coming. I am wondering they will show up as? I run with a tighten neck area. So I have to trimmer for thickness. I picked a length and trim all my case to set length. Then cut for thickness.
This is for a 25/280AI build. I also have 300WM case from Lapua, but haven't checked them yet.
