Kestrel Fails to Stay Connected

Gear: Kestrel 5700 Elite w/Link & iPhone 6S+. I get to 5% downloaded (for 1.27 update from 1.24) connection fails and will not reconnect unless I restart everything. In which case my Kestrel repeats the behavior. If anyone knows how to address this successfully please respond or PM me. Thank You
