Has anyone used his rings lately? I've searched the forum and there is nothing recent on them. Just wondering if their quality is there for the price. Specifically, I am looking at the 30mm aluminum rings since their low rings are basically a full tenth of an inch lower than anyone elses.

I have a set, I think he only has the steel version. I never could find the aluminum ones. The steel are quality and fairly robust. I too needed a set lower than what others offered.

Using a set of 34mm Farrells' on one scope/rifle. Seem to be very high quality and no problems so far - unless weight is an issue for some.

You might look at the APA rings. If I remember correctly, their low rings are about the lowest I found.

Thanks for the reply. They list aluminum ones in stock on their website. I might give them a try.
When I bought mine last fall, aluminum wasn't an option on their site. Good to know they are still offering them.
