Kahles scope K1050 10-50x56 moak

I'm thinking about using the scope as a long range hunting scope for deer and larger animals anybody ever try it ?

Is that the right scope to spend $3000 on ? Or should I look at some thing else ?

I currently have one, sold the other one..

they are amazing for what I use them for .. load validation. 1/8moa isn't ideal for hunting and 50 power is A LOT and htey are pretty darn big scope all around.

they are Khales quality great glass and controls are spot on

But, It would not be my first choice for a LR hunting scope.

I personally prefer bottom end around 3 or 4 and top end 20 to 25 which is nice for targets and identifying targets.. I have shot most all of my big game animals on average 12 to 15 power or lower

spotting my own hits is an absolute must ..

When I hunt I'm in a hunting shack on top of a hill overlooking a big field and I have a shooting table set and shooting off a lead sled so I have made 600 yard shots but I am not young anymore and my 6 to 24 -50 power Swarovski isn't quite enough for my eyes and I wanna zoom in more. So I want that power
