I bought a couple of these off of a friend last year who was going through some financial trouble. I've decided to sell one as it just doesn't suit my needs.
The gun I'm selling is Wind Walker Number 268 (Serial #0299) chambered in 338 Jarrett. The gun was assembled with Jarrett's Tri-Lock action. Barrel measures 22 inches from the lug to the base of the break. Weight is 7.2 pounds on my bathroom scale.
I talked to Cathy at Jarrett and she has all the load information for this gun. Unfortunately the load development done for this rifle was with .338 210 Nosler Ballistic Tips which to my knowledge are no longer available. I was also provided load data for 225 Barnes TTSX which consistently shoot in the 0.2's at 3100 fps. I have fired approximately 50 rounds and the original owner quoted me 100 when I purchased the rifle. This rifle is an absolute beauty. I shot an elk in New Mexico with it last year and it performed flawlessly while being a dream to carry. The only visible mark is some wear on the bluing on the muzzle break.
I have attached several pictures. If you would like anything more specific, please PM me. My initial asking price is $5,750 shipped from my FFL to yours. MO is preferred and I not interested in any trades at this time. First Public I'll take it followed by a PM wins.
I will also include 50 pieces of 2x fire Remington Brass (8mm), 25 pieces of new Nosler Brass (8mm), and the dies.
