Idaho Unit 23

I am looking to venture in to a new unit this year and was wondering who here has deer/elk hunted in Idaho Unit 23 and what their experience has been? Is there ATV access? Have you had good success in this unit? What is the country like? Good number of animals? Im leaving this week to camp near New Meadows to do some last minute scouting before the general season opens and any input is appreciated...
