A friend and I are looking hard at the Idaho general season, I recently spoke with a fish and game representative and learned about the hunting opportunities in Idaho . Now here is the question, what GMU? . Time will be late Sept. - early Oct. , no horses , planning on base camping at the truck and spiking in 3-4 miles or where we run in to game . Our strategy is simple get a vantage point , spot , close , shoot , we are not trophy hunting and just as enthusiastic about the predators that may be taken in lieu of a deer. Your advice is appreciated
