I heard back from Kirby, he said to use 1.125" rings. Kirby also said he recomends two sets of rings on the 338AM. I guess I will wait on getting a level and angle indicator untill I see how much room is left.

I just took some measurements off my ATACR and 6 hole rings along with my tac ops 34mm level and you will not have room for 2 sets of 6 hole rings and the level. 2 sets of the 4 hole rings on the other hand might work for you.
