We've had good luck with the 143ELDX and the Berger 130gr hunting VLD....My daughter and grandson seem to think they work well.

For our smaller framed southern deer the 125-130 class bullets seem to do better. Partition, deer season xp, 129 hornady interlock, 130 eldm or TMK or Berger. 143 eldx seems to do well with shoulder shots but doesn't seem to open up and expand as well as I'd like on behind the shoulder shots. This is out of ARs with 20" barrels so the velocity is down a bit from bolt rifle velocities with longer barrels.
