HSM Brass?

Recently picked up a Remy Sendero 300 RUM for a buddy.

Rifle came with what appears to once fired HSM brass.

First noticed necks are pretty thin and not consistent thickness. Some cases vary from .0135 to .015.

Does not appear to be turned.

My Norma 300 RUM was around .016 to .017 before cleaning up at .015.

What is your experience with HSM brass. Am I wasting my time with it?

HSM brass is Bertram brass. I have no problems with either one in 338 rum and I have both.
