Very long time lurker here. I think I may even have registered once before (like 7 or so years ago)
Anyway I am from Mountain Home, Idaho. I have some rifles that are capable of thumping stumps, busting rocks, or scaring the excrement out of a varmint from a good distance. I have been a reload/handloader for 30 plus years, shot USPSA competition for a couple of years and I have sent a considerable amount of lead downrange and now here I am really starting to get into this long range shooting thing. I have already learned a lot about it lurking around here on and off over the guy years and now I'm going to begin to apply the knowledge to my own reality.
My longest shot on live game was 387 yards across a canyon shooting down hill. That was a learning experience as are so many things in life. Yes the animal went down, inside of 50 yards of where I made the shot but it should have been a better shot.
Anyway that's me in a nutshell.
