I have 2 pounds of hogden longshot powder, and I'm forming .260 AI brass out of .260 lapua brass. About how much longshot should I use to form this load? Anyone used longshot before for this cartridge?

I cannot comment on Longshot nor have used any for FF.

I have used Bullseye a lot for FF with ground oatmeal to form several different AI cartridges and found it is always around 30 %to 33% of max case fill with bullseye to see optimum results.

Longshot ,according to one burn rate chart, is quite a slower burning powder. I suppose you could safely use a bit more than 30% to start with.

I'll usually make one each of increasing charge and monitor results.
Just work up slow.

Not a fan of cream of wheat method. On my .270 AI I developed a .270 Win and .270 AI accuracy load.

On my current project, I have a forming dies from Whidden ...
