Hornady CX load data request…

Have very little experience with copper alloy bullets. Researching Hornady 165 grain CX for 30-06. What load data works for your 30-06. Rifle is a Remington SPS, 24" bbl. Not sure of twist. Thanks for the input. MTG

You lost an inch off your barrel between here and another site.

I haven't used the CX, but worked up a load with a 168 TTSX in my 30-06. I'll go out to my work bench tomorrow and pull the data. If memory serves me right, I was playing around with RL26, RL17, and H4350.

As with anything, YMMV. What powders do you currently have in your inventory? Suggesting a load with powder(s), you do not have or cannot acquire is no help to you.

Download the Hornady app, or the new 11th edition has them in there. The usual suspects work for the cx they don't list them separately in the book.

Stam, it's stone fingers when I type.
Will work with Varget as listed online. New bullet and have little knowledge with gilded metal projectiles. Thanks. MTG
