Made a tripod mount for my rangefinder outta an old spotter window mount. Kind of a pig-saddle deallie. Had to cut off one side and bolt a piece of aluminum angle a tad wider to make it work. Then I decided to outsmart my-very-own-self and make a bracket to run it next to the spotter. I had to keep the balance point farther forward than I wanted to make pushing the range button more stable. Turned out handier than heck, and takes the wobbles outta hand-holding it or bracing on shooting sticks.
