I know this is not the 'most correct' place to post this, but it will get to the people in MN the quickest.

Long Range Match in Hibbing at the Hibbing Rifle and Pistol Club.
Sunday, 24 July, starts at 10 AM.
300, 400 and 500 yard, 5 shots each yardage, targets are 3 inch, 4 inch and 5 inch gongs.
Usually 2 matches and then play at 650 yards, 24 inch, 10 inch and 6 inch gongs.

Take HWY 169 West out of Hibbing to Marksmanship Center Road, large 4x6 road sign, turn North on Marksmanship Center Road go 1 mile to top of hill and turn Left and follow the road in to the Trap range, turn Left again and go to the end of the road.

Good match, had 12 shooters. See Long Range Competition for results.

Hibbing Rifle and Pistol is a membership only club with about 400 members.

During shooting events, that part of the club is open to the public for that shooting event.

The Trap club is open to the public on Mondays and Thursdays 'til October.

Next long range match; 3, 4, 500 yard and play at 600 will be 14 Aug 16 @ 10 AM.
The targets will be 3 inch gong at 300, 4 inch gong at 400 and 5 inch gong at 500 yards with a play gongs at 600 yards. The play gongs at 600 yards are a 24 inch gong, a 10 inch gong with 3 inch center flapper and 6 inch gong.

This is a 15 round match, 5 shots at each yardage, and 2 matches.

There is serious talk about setting up and including a 5 round, 600 yard 6 inch gongs as part of the match. More to come.

I will post this as a new entry within the next day or 2.
