Hi all, my question is this-I am new to long range shooting and currently have a savage 11/111 bth .308. So that will be my starting rifle. I have been researching scopes like crazy and I think I would like my starting scope to be a sightron! Either 6-24 or 8-32, is the top end of the 32 that much more noticeable over the top end of the 24 to justify the price difference? The things I have read tell me no, but I figure if anyone knows, It's you guys!!

A 4.5 -16 x 50 (or better objective) with a 30mm tube is plenty enough for any 308. Most scopes cranked up, loose eye relief anyway. Save your money for a decent stock like a MacMillan.
