Hello to all you long range members my name is John and I'm a newb here on this site please don't mind my handle it's my gamer tag I got from my kid's and their friend's playing black op's zombies.i'm from the communist state of New York,I live north of buffalo close to Lake Ontario , real good deer country I've been long ranging before it was cool,in this area a 100 yard shot was long to the majority but I had a custom bansner bolt action slug gun with 3.5x10x50 scope Leo gold ring crisp 3lbs trigger shooting 3 inch copper solids and have taken deer out to 300 yards and calling my shots,it was one of my sweetest rigs but I've graduated to an H&R ultra slug single shot same scope did my own trigger job and have had about the same results slamming deer although I won't shoot farther because of ballistic's and ethics keep me grounded, I have a sweet H&R single shot bull barrel 308 with a trigger job by me and a serbu 50 bmg carbine that has a decent trigger and I can keep my shots moa out to 500 but I'm hoping I will learn from the gained experience here on this awesome site,thank's to all

I feel you man! No compliance from anyone i know. Did you here about that guy down in NYC? The one who championed the safe act and was then subsequently caught carrying a pistol into a school? What a joke I hope he gets fried by his own stupid law!

I know that's some crazy *** ******** pardon my French.but where the hell do they get off telling us we can't have guns or buy ammo and this ******* goes into a school armed nonetheless.this place just gets better and better I'm with you I hope he's made an example out off but of course his wiener loving buddy cuomo will probably come to his rescue

Difficult as it may be, we should all stay, get louder and run the scalawags in Albany out... as in out of the Country.

Ulysses S Grant once said, "I know no method to secure the repeal of bad or obnoxious laws so effective as their stringent execution."

NYSRPA pulled the story down from their website but if I recall, the guy in the school with the gun was in Erie County. Since most of the Bull Chips in favor of the "unsafe" act were from the other end of the State - NYC and Albany - I would hope the folks in the western counties take Pres. Grant's suggestion and run with it until it's repealed. At least let's hope a judge and jury over there will make an example out of him.
