Hello and regards to all members. This is my first post here and my name is Walt. I'm reacquainting myself to shooting after a 30 year spell as my daughter's boy friend has developed an interest in fire arms.
This forum comes up nearly every time I do a search regarding fire arms, and it has indeed been a great source of information. I've been trawling around here for months and have use the knowledge of others to assist me in the purchase of my new rifle, a Tikka T3 .243 forest, and I love it. I have also purchase some Lee reloading equipment and I'm starting to work up some loads for myself and my friends 30 06.
I plan on trying my hand at some long range plinking 600 - 700 plus, I understand that this will require considerable practice and my eye sight's pretty knackered but I plan on having fun anyway.
Now I'll look for the appropriate place to post my first question.
