help with Night Vision scopes

1 Recommendation
Make sure the Turrets Match the Recticle:
MOA/MOA or MIL/MIL.
That is a $350 mistake on MY part.

Other than that, NF Rocks.

Didn't know Nightforce made a mil/mil or moa/moa night vision riflescope, or any night vision for that matter.:D

True night vision scopes that are worth anything will run you several thousand dollars on the low end. Those using phosphorous are true night vision and use ambient light. The other option are thermal scopes, which do not use ambient light, but rather heat signature. As a general rule, thermal scopes will run more $$ than night vision scopes.

Best entry level option is a night vision monocular worn on the head with a IR laser mounted to the weapon. This is only good out to 200 yds or so. Be sure to check the regs in your state before proceeding.

DO NOT GET ANYTHING ATN. Their shortcomings are well known and we'll documented. Cheap and night vision don't mix. Go look at tnvc.com they have a good reputation and can answer all your questions if you call them.
