I've been an Idaho hunter for many years and hunt primarily big game and upland birds. I've done a little precision rifle shooting and have a VS Remington in .308 Win. that is quite accurate and an enjoyable gun to shoot. I don't have a long range hunting rifle at this time but may have one put together in the future. A 700 Rem. in 6.5/284 is intriguing. My longest shot to date was many years ago on a whitetail buck at around 450 yds. with a 270 Win.. I look forward to gaining knowledge from this site.
