Hello everyone,

My name is Randal, and I'm from Robertson County near Marquez, TX.
I have a great spot with 800-1000 yards of open range right off my porch that I'd love to make full use of one day.
Right now, I'm shooting a .308 and .243, but I'm planning to upgrade to something more suitable for longer distances next year.
That's what brought me here—I've been reading threads for research and figured it was time to join the community.

I'm also wondering if anyone might be interested in a trade: access to hunting on my property in exchange for help with projects around the place.
I'm handling things solo and have a long list of tasks (fencing, clearing, general maintenance, etc.).
If there's any interest, I can start a separate thread with more details.
Looking forward to learning from you all and contributing where I can.

Welcome. I'm not much good for building fence or hard manual work anymore, but I can do pretty good from the seat of a tractor. I have a place 15 miles northeast of Crockett, surrounded by Davy Crockett National Forest. The longest targets I have are 200 yds.

Hey that can work. I have a driveway to build Approx 743' long. Need 1 culvert put in.
I have a JD 210LE with a bucket and box scraper. 7 yd dump trailer and a 8N with a brush hog.

Expanding one of my ponds too.

Hello from Northwest Houston. I know at least one guy (me), and probably 1 or 2 more who would trade some work for hunting hogs. My first job was building highways here in Texas (concrete work for bridges, culverts, drainage, etc.) and I still remember how to do most of it. The other two are a very handy veterinarian and his nephew (mechanical engineer). Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
