Hello from Brainerd Minnesota

Hello fellow hunters and shooters, I have been hunting since I was ten years old up here in Minnesota and have been fortunate to be able to hunt in a number of states during my lifetime.
I must admit being born and raised here in Minnesota I grew up being taught the philosophy that "Meats meat" and now at the age of 68 am anxious to be more selective on game and learn more about long range hunting.I really look forward to being a part of this fine group of sportsman.

Welcome aboard. From a hunting perspective I have to agree that meat is meat but I'm gonna do my best to take the greatest quantity of meat when I'm selecting game in the field. I shoot with some guys who will spend weeks in the woods looking for a trophy buck and go home without taking a shot. I respect their discipline but not likely to join their club.
