Hammer 338 175 HH

Just noticed they added a 175 gr HH in 338. I ordered a box to test in my 338rcm for deer hunting. Been wanting a lighter bullet for deer.

Are they going to make some in 8mm?

I get 3,054 feet per second 198 gainers. What would it do with 175s?

Playing with some simulations with the 175 HH. N540, 3031, and a couple others looking good in the RCM.

Which cartridge? I am having a 338 Sherman prefit built now. Was thinking the 235 HH might be a good fit.

The case is like a 7mm Weatherby. It uses 72 grains of H4350 and Rem 9 1/2M primer in a 24" barrel.
