.338 282gr hammer hunter load

I won the TikTok giveaway and chose the .338 282gr hammer hunter bullets.
1. IMR 7828ssc
Min- 71.4gr. Max- 79.4gr
Coal 3.680
I settled on 78.5gr with 1" groups at 800 yards with my Savage 110 BA Lapua Mag.
2. H-1000
Min- 77.2gr. Max-85.7gr
Coal- 3.680
1.5" Groups at 800 yards same gun.
Chrono broke so no velocity #s
Thinking I can get them out a little further, and will definitely have to try some different calibers.

Sounds like you are getting some exceptional accuracy at range unless those are MOA numbers.

I'm curious, how did you choose your seating depth?

Still learning but I probably have the terminology wrong, all impact holes were within an inch of each other on the target at 800 yards.

1"spread at 800 yds is incredible. You need to go to some benchrest matches with that rifle. If you can duplicate those groups, you will blow everybody away!

Would love to but our 1000yard range won't allow anything over .308 and nothing with a muzzle brake. And those guys are really good
