After trying a few different loads in my 7mm saum I decided to go with H-1000 and a 160 gr. nosler accubond. The 160 gr. bullet is about the longest bullet for the little case to use and still get decent velocity with. Has anybody else tried H-1000, and did you have good results with it?

so far it is a tossup in my sendero 7SAUM between H1000 and H4831SC... but so far the SC is winning... i am shooting 162Amax the best so far but i havent tried many bullets so far... (175SMK,168SMK and 162AMax) amax is working best so far with 59.5grs H4831SC but dunno velocity yet...with 215Match fed primers... good luck... Brien

Thanks for the replies. I only have the regular H-4831 and I was disappointed with the velocity.

Do the 140's leave a lot of bloodshot meat on game? This rifle is fairly new and I'm just getting into working up loads.
